Technician checking tire pressure

Your tires are the only part of your car that touches the road. Their condition affects braking distance, handling, fuel economy, and comfort.

Check Pressure Monthly

Under-inflated tires wear faster and waste fuel, while over-inflated tires reduce grip. Use the pressure listed on the sticker inside your driver’s door, not the number on the tire sidewall.

Rotate Every 5,000 to 7,500 Miles

Front and rear tires wear differently. Regular rotation evens out that wear and helps your tires last longer.

Inspect Your Tread

Tread depth below 2/32 of an inch is unsafe. Look for uneven wear patterns too, which can point to alignment or suspension issues worth checking.
